Brunch at Toulouse Petit

Rainy Sunday and we are off to a brunch double date with a visiting Colorado  homie.  Toulouse Petit in Queene Ann is the choice.  Think New Orleans French/Creole. 

Although i just made fried chicken and waffles at home the night before, i chose the Fried Chicken Gumbo... i cannot say no to roux.  Homeboy got my second choice, Spicy Shrimp with Creamy Grits.

we had to order a dish to place in the middle of the table because the menu read: Crispy Fried Pork Cheeks Confit.  I am unable to decline.
