Random Week; Sous Vide, Brisket Waffles, Melrose Market, and re:public
Saturday, December 4 Seared Black Cod with Mango Candy and Pea Puree
Roasted Beet Salad with Candied Pecans and Goat Cheese
Cornbread Waffles and Jubelale Braised Brisket, with Bourbon Caramel... and then topped with crispy bacon bits. This is last sunday's tailgate grub!
I got the Immersion Circulator finally working properly, thanks to Seattlefoodgeek. So I have been experimenting with some sous vide.
Some cute baby carrots from the farmers market.
I experimented on our dinner guests with a deboned chicken, stuffed with spinach and brandied mushrooms… hope I didn’t scare them with the chicken texture!
Went to dinner at re:public with the ladies…
Pork Cheek… yummers
Truffle Chicken
Sablefish
Beef Belly… yes please!
Want to find meat and cheese? Go to Melrose Market, Rain Shadow meats has some serious meat food-porn and cheese is off the hook at The Calf & Kid
