Eliana’s Short Seattle Visit; Ebelskivers and Bastille Ballard

Eliana is here for a quick weekend visit.  My ladies get their Ebelskivers filled with Jelly from Bouchon Bakery (from the Vegas trip)

We go to Bastille Café & Bar in Ballard because Eliana is craving some duck confit and mussels.  An old buddy from line cooking days I the chef de cuisine there so he sent out a few extra surprises for the table!

Hearts of Palm Salad

Socca Cake with Olive Oil Poached Tuna

Chicken Liver Mousse

Kumamotos

Rabbit!! So Good!  Eliana tries Rabbit for the first time and she let us know that rabbit has taken the #3 spot of her Favorite animals to eat (Ducks have the hold on the #1 spot and Pigs are in at #2).

Extra Crispy, Delicious Pork Belly

Oh My Amazing Duck Confit!  Even topped off with Lardons!

Eliana gets her Mussels!Everything we had was freaking great! big THANK YOU TO JASON!
